Everything you need to know about the Mother's Day Lobster Dinner!
Q: How do I order a Mother’s Day Lobster dinner?
A: Order online at pelicanseafood.ca. To allow us to accurately take order information and to keep orders organized, Mother’s Day Lobster Dinners are only available to purchase online.
If you need help ordering, you are welcome to drop by the Seafood Market and we can assist you with an online purchase.
Q: Why can’t I order over the phone?
A: Due to the large number of orders that we prepare we need to be very accurate to avoid disappointing you and your guests. When you fill in your order information there are fewer opportunities for mistakes.
Q: Can I cancel my order for a refund?
A: We cannot offer refunds after May 2nd. We have committed to our suppliers including our hardworking Lobster fishermen and we ask for the same commitment from you.
Q: Can I purchase my Mother’s Day dinner using a gift card?
A: Unfortunately no. Mother’s Day dinners may only be purchased online and Gift cards are unable to be used for online purchases.
Q: Why can’t I pick up my Lobster Dinner?
A: We feel that it is important that we do our part to discourage non-essential travel and to decrease foot traffic to our premises at busy times.
Therefore we are offering delivery for a Flat Fee of $5 per delivery location. Distance-Based Rates are available for addresses beyond 30km.
Q: What if the delivery address is outside the Pelican Delivery zone?
A: If your delivery address is outside the Pelican delivery zone, please email us at email@example.com and we will make arrangements for your to pick up at Pelican Seafood.
Q: When will I receive my order?
A: When you place your order online you will be prompted to select the date and the delivery window for your order:
- – Saturday, May 8th or Sunday, May 9th
- – Morning: 9AM to 12 noon or Afternoon: 12 noon to 4PM.
You will receive an email notification when your order is en route and when it is dropped off at your location.
We will try our best to arrive during these delivery windows but please be patient, we are doing our best to serve you in a timely manner.
Q: What if I can’t be home when my delivery is scheduled to arrive?
A: The dinners are individually packaged in robust, sealed boxes with an ice pack and can safely remain outdoors for an hour. If you anticipate being unavailable at the time of delivery, we recommend leaving a cooler for us to place your order in.
Q: Can I alter what is in my dinner?
A: Unfortunately we cannot offer substitutions in the dinner.
Q: Is the dinner Gluten-Free?
A: The Cheddar Biscuit and Celebration cake have Gluten but the other items are Gluten Free
Q: Are there instructions included in the dinner?
A: There are instructions in the box.
Q: What do I do with my dinners when they arrive?
A: Keep your dinners refrigerated until you are ready to prepare them. They can be placed in the fridge in their boxes or you can unpack the items into your fridge for more space.
Q: Can I order hot food from the Take Out menu for delivery too?
A: We do not offer Hot food delivery only Curbside Pick Up.
